TROOP STATS

Troop 835 has over 40 active Scouts and 22 adult leaders. We go on 7 monthly campouts plus summer camp in June, a high adventure trip in July, and winter camp in December. In 2005 we went to National Jamboree! Come see us and check us out.
Troop 835 was chartered in 1968 to Schreiber Memorial United Methodist Church. We have had more than 87 Eagle Scouts since our beginning and believe that every boy has the potential of achieving Eagle rank.

WHEN AND WHERE

We meet each Monday night at 7:30 p.m. at Schreiber United Methodist Church. Schreiber is located at the corner Rickover and Welch. That's on the north side of W.T.White High School and just a few block south of LBJ Freeway. For directions, go to the MAP.

OBJECTIVES

Our troop objective is to support a scouting environment which:
* builds confidence
* develops leadership ability
* provides fellowship and fun
* teaches new skills
* makes better citizens
* helps boys enjoy the outdoors
